Sales & Customer Service Assistant
We have oppertunities for a full time (4 or 5 days) and a part time (3 days) Sales and Customer Service Assistant to work in our busy Gift Shop at Speedwell Cavern.
We are open 7 days a week throughout the year and the job will entail working one weekend day per week as well as Bank Holidays.
Opening hours are 10am to the seasonal closing time (5pm summer and 4pm winter).
Duties include shop sales and stock keeping, Cavern ticket sales and general housekeeping.
The pay rate (for 21 year olds and older) is £12.75 per hour payable weekly and includes 28 days paid holiday p.a. for a full time (5 days) worker.
Full training will be provided so previous experience, while welcome, is not necessary.

Cavern Tour Guide
We have an opportunity for a full time (5 days) Tour Guide to join our team taking our visitors through Speedwell Cavern by boat.
We are open 7 days a week throughout the year and the job will entail working one weekend day per week as well as Bank Holidays.
Opening hours are 10am to the seasonal closing time (5pm summer and 4pm winter).
Duties include being responsible for conducting boat tours through this old lead mine educating and entertaining the visitors, as wellas carrying out general estate duties and routine maintenance.
Applicants should be outgoing, enjoy working with the public and be able to demonstrate initiative.
The pay rate (for 21 year olds and older) is £12.75 per hour payable weekly and includes 28 days paid holiday p.a.
